It's A New Day

About The Owner
Andreana Thomas is the owner and founder of It’s a New Day Professional Visitation Monitor, established in 2020. She has been in the field of Professional Supervised Visitations for 12 years, and has opened It’s a New Day Professional Visitation Monitor’s on-site facility in 2025.
A Life Devoted to Family and Service
Andreana Thomas is mother of 7, five biological children and two adopted children that are siblings. She has raised one of her adopted daughters since she was three days old and the other one just after her first birthday in 2020. Andreana’s passion for working with children has stemmed from her family foundation, where her family is her pride and joy, and servicing the youth is her life’s mission.
A Journey of Faith and Resilience
Andreana became a widow at 21 years old. Despite the early loss of her husband, she remained committed to building a meaningful life for her children and serving her community. She survived being a victim of domestic violence from the relationship with her younger children’s father following her late husband, which has influenced her work with young girls to teach them to always believe in themselves and value their self worth. She has an extensive background in working with youth, being dedicated to their overall growth and well-being. The recent opening of our dedicated facility is a testament to her hard work, purpose, and the grace of God.
Extensive Experience in Youth & Family Services
With over 20 years of experience, Andreana served as a drug and alcohol counselor and mental health professional in different therapeutic settings. She worked at the Foothill Rehab in Pacoima, CA in the early 2000s, where she worked with adults with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. In 2001, she worked at Phoenix House (a therapeutic youth program for substance abuse) in Lakeview Terrace, CA where she was a youth counselor. In 2005, she worked at Hathaway-Sycamores in Altadena, CA supporting children and youth. In 2012, she worked at Penny Lane as a residential supervisor for group homes of at-risk youth, where she worked with DCFS and probation officers.
Andreana founded her non-profit organization in 2016, the Mad Youth Project Inc., that focuses on supporting underserved youth and families through mentorship, resources, and community programs. Extending her entrepreneurship, in 2020 Andreana became a certified notary and loan signing agent, when she opened her business Andreana Signs, LLC. In 2021, Andreana opened A Lyons Family Childcare LLC, as a 24-hour licensed daycare provider in Quartz Hill, CA.
